The Siren's Call

Delighted to hear that my short story Safe Waters has been accepted for World Weaver Press's Sirens anthology.

This was one of those stories that took a long time to complete. I wrote the first 500 words a couple of years ago, but then couldn't see through the murky waters to the ending - or even to the middle. So I left it to settle on the seabed. Then the Sirens call for submission came along and everything fell into place.

Sometimes it's good to answer the Siren's call...
