More Stupefaction

Friday, 27 July 2012

Not much to report on the short fiction front of late, other than numerous additions to my large and growing collection of rejection letters. One day I shall publish them all. In twelve volumes.

But, another sale to Stupefying Tales to report: The Cat's Tale, a humorous SF flash story. This piece has been rejected by quite a few markets, including one that didn't even think it was a story.

Hah. See, I knew I was right. You should never give up.

  4. Congratulation!

I've had that happen to me, where I was told something was very nicely written but it wasn't a story, only to have it find a home elsewhere because I knew it was and I believed in it.

  5. Madeline, I guess it demonstrates how subjective the whole thing is?
