Impressively sparse, Simon. God, you should see my space. Also, sometimes, I write in bed.
ReplyDeleteI envy you, I really do. Having to get rid of all the clutter first can take an age...
DeleteSo happy to have you on my blog today!!

Delighted to be there!
DeleteI have to do it. Tonight after school I have cooked tea. Rebecca didn't like it. So I have cooked a quick pasta and bacon sauce with her. I have done Joseph's extra spelling work. I have listened to guitar and violin practice. I have finished my string of ten story and submitted it. I have commented on a couple of blogs. I have cleaned the bike for Friday's bikeability test.
ReplyDeleteAnd so on and so forth. Boo hoo. Poor me.
But how you have a clean desk, that fills me with awe.
Ah, that all sounds so much like my life! Except I haven't finished or even started my string of ten story...
DeleteI have to look over my shoulder to look out the window and even then, I keep the blinds only half open so I can't totally see out. I'd be staring off over rooftops all day! With your view, I'd be imagining people sitting on that bench, who are they, why are they there... :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to have such a neat desk but then where would I put all my notes and scrap paper and pens and dancing solar flower and desk lamp and... :)
Yes, I keep wondering who those people sitting on my bench are, too...
DeleteI can see that dancing solar flowers are important. Perhaps I need to get some.
Heading over...
ReplyDeleteI want your desk space and views please!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
Heh. Perhaps I should allow people to come and use them...
DeleteEnjoyed seeing your views through the seasons; do you find that they influence the stories you write throughout the year?
ReplyDeleteMilo - I think they probably do. I've noticed before how often I write wintry scenes when it's winter etc.
Deleteloved having you on my blog, Simon! Thanks so much for doing the interview :)
