Hedge Witch Cover Reveal

Today I'm delighted to reveal Morrigan Books' cover for Hedge Witch:



It was designed by the very talented Amanda Pillar. What do you think? I love the mystery of it. And the crows. Can't ever have enough crows...

We're aiming for an April 2013 release. Lots of editing to do before then...

    Nice, Simon. Very sexy, but I didn't see the black smudges as crows - perhaps they could be slightly less blurred?

    Sue - We did experiment a bit with a larger/more obvious crows but came back to this. Take your point, though. Tricky things covers!

    It looks fantastic! I'm waiting for the first ideas on my book's cover, and I must admit I'm nervous...the cover draws readers in so has to be spot on. This is full of atmosphere...and no-one has enough crows.

    Thanks, Rebecca. And, yes, it's a really tricky thing to get right. I looked at hundreds of published covers and poor Amanda at Morrigan sent me numerous ideas. We got there in the end!
