Simms
A genehunter; makes a living tracking down the DNA code of famous individuals.

Devi
A genehunter. Sometime partner of Simms. Sometime enemy too.

Kelly
A woman Simms used to have a thing with. In Simms' head it's all still going on...

Mac
Runs the Double Helix bar in San Francisco. If the genehunters have a spiritual home, the Double Helix is it.

Ballard
A GMAn, responsible for ensuring people like Simms obey the law. Which they don't.

Mann
A client. Employs Simms to track down some DNA for their collection on behalf of Mann's employer.

Tom Jacks
A dead rock star.

Sanchez
A genehunter who got sadly killed a while back.


The GMA
The Genetic Monitoring Agency; the arm of government responsible for enforcing the cloning and genetic material laws. An agent of the GMA is commonly referred to as a "GMAn". Agent Ballard is one such agent, responsible for keeping tabs on Simms. Among other things...
