J is for Juggernaut
A juggernaut is a huge, overpowering force or entity; something completely unstoppable. The word actually derives from the Hindi name Jagannatha which means "lord of the world" (jagat = world, natha = lord). Juggernaut/Jagannatha is an aspect of the god Krishna.
The sense of an unstoppable force came because of the form of Krishna worshipped in Puri, Orissa. During festivals an image of Krishna is carried through the streets in a heavy chariot under the wheels of which devotees were said to have thrown themselves.
Also a Marvel Comics character.

I'm not sure why, but to me the word doesn't fit the meaning. When I hear the word juggernaut the image of juggling clowns pops into my head o_O
