The Halloween Tuesday Twitter Tale : Interview With A Victim

Tuesday, 26 October 2010

‘Can you describe your attacker?’ ‘Tall, very pale. Teeth’. PC Gough sighed. Next year she’d make sure she avoided the Halloween shift.

The Tuesday Twitter Tale is a weekly work of tweet-length fiction. It is posted here and on Twitter (along with the #vss - very short story - hash tag).

Okay! And thanks. I quite like the idea of making them topical like this I must admit ...

  4. Nice one -- related to last week's? A serialized tale of tweets, perchance?

  5. Milo,

Thanks! I hadn't really intended a series but I see what you mean! Hmm, perhaps I need a third one to round it off now ...

  7. Hey Simon, I'm Becky and I'm visiting from Theresa's blog haunt. Your twitter fiction is really good. Loved the Teeth one.

It's been a while since I've read much SF. CassaStar was my first foray back into the genre. I had no idea there was such a difference or that it was polarized according to political leanings....?

I just get caught up in the story-one of the reasons I had to read and reread them in school to find out the tone, any foreshadowing, etc.

Looking forward to reading more of you blog and more twiction. Is that a word I can use?

  10. The Words Crafter,

Yes, I know what you mean about getting caught up in the story. It can be a pain not to if you're a writer; you spend your time looking for the technical details of the writing rather than just enjoying it.

Thanks for dropping by anyway. Delighted you like the story. Twiction seems like a fine word to me!
