Haiku Nominated for the Dwarf Stars Award

Saturday, 29 June 2013

I just learned that my SF haiku wormhole opening, published by 7x20 magazine last year, is one of the 30 or so that will appear in the Science Fiction Poetry Association's Dwarf Stars Anthology for 2013. This is an anthology of "the best speculative poem of 1-10 lines published in the previous year".

Exciting news. Once the anthology is published, SFPA members then vote on which poem from the 30 gets the award. I surely won't win, but it's a thrill to be nominated.

    1. Yeah, I thought about that but the initials spell SANK, so I decided against it...
