I've been holding on to this story for a while waiting for Vitality to reopen for submissions as it's a market I really wanted to appear in. Stories have to be about "a queer person who has an adventure, rather than a person who has an adventure because they are queer" (and by queer they mean gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, aromantic, transgender, non-binary genders, agender, intersex, etc.)
